Employees may submit a request to the Mailroom for a courier service to pick up and deliver shipments.

- If the notification is received on time (at least 30 minutes before the start of the mail round) and the nature of the shipment (size and/or lead time) allows it, it will be included in the regular regular HvA mail distribution round. If this is not the case, for example in the case of an urgent shipment, the shipment will be picked up separately.
- Depending on the requested destination and desired lead time, the shipment will be delivered directly to the HvA location or within Amsterdam, or will be brought to the Mailroom for further handling and delivery.
- Foreign shipments and domestic shipments other than UvA or Amsterdam, are sent via an external courier.
We apply the following service levels in accordance with the European tender Cat. management Post2009:
- Notified before 12:00 noon, delivered the next day in the Netherlands
- Notified before 16:30 hours, delivered the 2nd business day in the Netherlands
- Small transport: dimensions of cargo space 1m x 1m x 1m, max 200kg.
- Larger and heavier transports are carried out by tail lift truck.
- For transports with multiple pick-up and delivery addresses, please add a separate overview in your email.
